Seeing Things: DIY Secret Book of Sinister Potions
Seeing Things: DIY Secret Book of Sinister Potions: " Poison in a small dose is a medicine, and a medicine in a large dose is a poison." ...
Star Booklet
It seems as though there are many versions of these little star books as well as many versions on how to teach these star books. I was not fond of any of the tutorials I came across but it was Kristins Racky Road Junk and Stuff that inspired me the most in at least the attempt. I do not recall ever making one of these little star books but seems to be at a level under pre-school or at least it should be made at an under pre-school level.
I would also suggest if that you do not want white pockets, or any white backing to show that you use either color cardstock or a double sided printed cardstock.
Additionally the measurements can be adjusted to make various sized stars and in this instance I changed the sewing to the gluing method.

Mixed Media Crafters...
I had to get this out of my system on the amount of garbage they have purchased through the years. After, I made it, didn't bother to paint over it, and then trashed it...

Failed Easter Attempt....
I had watched a you tube video on how to make a Easter Nest Pin, she called it something different, and I did not keep the link to the video. Her original was in silver wire, and flimsy. I assumed if I added more wire that it would become Heavier... and it is, and how it turned out. In turn it inspired me to use it, and re-create another one for something else.
If you want a paper weight... The first picture is the first enormously large attempt using multiple colored wires without the eggs.
The second picture is showing how easy it was to take it apart, and remake it smaller for another purpose other than a pin. I will eventually be attempting to incorporate that nest in too a charm for an album cover or binding.

The third picture shows the difference in the original enormously large size versus my blended wire small bird charm that looks more like a real miniature jewelry nest.
