April Fools Month!

My Allure box came before my Birchbox. I have cancelled my Allure box and maybe you will see why. I have maintained my Birchbox till I deem otherwise. I choose another editor's box and I can't say I am happy with it but at least now I know...

Ranger Polysparkle

I know I still have at least one of this jar. I wanted two different kinds of apples and pears. I wanted them to have a "sugar" affect. One set was done with "inks" and the polysparkle and one set done with "pencils" and polysparkle. I like aspects of both but it required me to emboss all of them three times to get the "sparkle" that is lacking in the polysparkle. Another product I cannot and do not recommend.

PVA Glue #1

I would like to be be informative and there is many PVA glue's on the market. My thoughts... I would never re-purchase this PVA glue again.

An Italian Glue

I attempted to finish this off and finally managed too. This does not attach to anything glossy. It has a weird and strange texture that seems more pro"protective but I would not purchase it again. That little tiny brush was aggervating..

Upcyclng

G 45's project for April is too up-cycle and I do have something I have been wanting to up-cycle just not sure I want to do it under the month of April. Plus, they require a Facebook page and well.... Anyways with my other projects needing to be completed I will really have to think about this one. A top and Bottom from Too Good Gourmet and I want to make a bank out of it.

Tried and Not True!

I have tried a few new art products in the past week and there are a few that I would never purchase again. I will list the worst and to the best.

1.Viva Sunny Yellow Gloss Gel was really the worst. When I tried to use it and squeeze the squeeze bottle it exploded all over me and my computer.

2. Small trial set of Faber Casttell. The worst of the three was the gel medium. I had to find another Gel Medium to fix what would not glue. I can purchase better and cheaper Gesso elsewhere. I have to say I was surprized by the glaze. It worked so so and was almost too dull on one project and too glossy on another. The end result Im sure it's not worth the price tag.

3. The MOD Podge bubbled every time I tried to use it. It was not as if I did not use enough for that not to happen. It ruined all of my hard work.

4. Those paint brushes and what is the name of them again. They are not "cheap" and supposed to be ergonomic for the hands. All of them have been horrible and I might as well purchase cheap throw away brushes for that price tag.

5. Rangers Refillable Mister! Timmy! OK! Well It works till you get to about a 1/4 too a half an inch in the bottom of the bottle. It has been thee best Mister thus far considering the others that I have tried.I'm still a fan of Lindsey's Stamp Gang. I have not tried the H20 Misters or the Dylusions but I suspect the Dylusions are similar or exact to the Ranger Refillable Mister.

6. The Best was the Claudia Helmuth but at a much higher price tag. This is the Matte but if I find a cheaper solution I will let you know.

Timmy's Tags 1, 2, and 3.

I've never really attempted tags but have seen a few of them in various places. I'm not sure how to enter the appropriate 12 months of Tim Holtz tags so I thought I would just attempt a few here. I did not purchase the #8 tags but made them out of his paper that I had remaining from another project. Here is three of them that I made today. I hope you enjoy.
