Tried and Not True!

I have tried a few new art products in the past week and there are a few that I would never purchase again. I will list the worst and to the best.

1.Viva Sunny Yellow Gloss Gel was really the worst. When I tried to use it and squeeze the squeeze bottle it exploded all over me and my computer.

2. Small trial set of Faber Casttell. The worst of the three was the gel medium. I had to find another Gel Medium to fix what would not glue. I can purchase better and cheaper Gesso elsewhere. I have to say I was surprized by the glaze. It worked so so and was almost too dull on one project and too glossy on another. The end result Im sure it's not worth the price tag.

3. The MOD Podge bubbled every time I tried to use it. It was not as if I did not use enough for that not to happen. It ruined all of my hard work.

4. Those paint brushes and what is the name of them again. They are not "cheap" and supposed to be ergonomic for the hands. All of them have been horrible and I might as well purchase cheap throw away brushes for that price tag.

5. Rangers Refillable Mister! Timmy! OK! Well It works till you get to about a 1/4 too a half an inch in the bottom of the bottle. It has been thee best Mister thus far considering the others that I have tried.I'm still a fan of Lindsey's Stamp Gang. I have not tried the H20 Misters or the Dylusions but I suspect the Dylusions are similar or exact to the Ranger Refillable Mister.

6. The Best was the Claudia Helmuth but at a much higher price tag. This is the Matte but if I find a cheaper solution I will let you know.

Timmy's Tags 1, 2, and 3.

I've never really attempted tags but have seen a few of them in various places. I'm not sure how to enter the appropriate 12 months of Tim Holtz tags so I thought I would just attempt a few here. I did not purchase the #8 tags but made them out of his paper that I had remaining from another project. Here is three of them that I made today. I hope you enjoy.

Continued Projects and getting back to never normal again...

Tolerance is my daily issue... They are fighting the stupids. I can still read. My writing might be lacking but I can still read.

Maple Street Shops!

At least create your own designs... The Gypsy Caravan was designed by a miniature artist's. I already knew that Artist's where going to be stolen from... Not unheard of in any realm.

AVOIDANCE!

I have been trying to avoid the craft realm for a while based on the lack of artist, their mommy attitudes, and for their excessive lack of talent. I've been watching beauty tutorials. I tried a few different beauty subscription boxes, and two food boxes. Thus far Allure, Birchbox, Nature Box, and Love with Food. The Nature Box, and Love with Food where "free" as long as I only paid the shipping costs. I tried them once was disappointed, and then canceled them. I might try the Vegan, and Gluten Free boxes in the future. Since it's no longer about Ipsy versus Birchbox, and it's now Allure versus Birchbox I thought I would give both a go. I don't like Ipsy based on the overpriced makeup. My first impression, and opinion? Well I'm still keeping both boxes. For now I'm still keeping both boxes. I will just upload my February Birchbox, and both of my March Allure, and Birchbox. You can form your own opinion for now. I will add that I do love my additional March purchase from Birchbox which is the statement necklace.

TacKy...

My versiOn Of their versiOn Of tacKy... I once again did not purchase this pattern but just watched the very long, drawn out and dramatic videos of her tutorials. This is the end result of my Princess and the Pea bed. I changed the entire plan design, and added a box on the bottom as opposed to three additional mattresses. Tacky for sure...

I made it as a joke Easter gift for my sister, and her habitual sex habits... H A H A L O L... I will be filling it with goodies, gifts, and treats when the time arrives.
